Our Beliefs

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the great Creator of Heaven and Earth. 

We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified and died as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our (human) sins. He is our Messiah!

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God and has all the Divine attributes. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a believer’s relationship with God. While the infilling of the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit’s control over a believer’s life. 

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It has 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books. It is our supreme authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct. 

We believe that God created marriage and intended for the union of one man and one woman (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God’s will, purpose, and design for marriage is a lifelong commitment under His banner. 

We believe that God wonderfully and unchangeably creates each person as either biologically male or biologically female. These two distinct and complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). 

We believe that discipleship is Jesus’ command to all His followers. It is not merely a program or curriculum but a commitment to the redemptive journey toward Christlikeness.

At CJ2 (Couple’s Journey in Christ Jesus), we encourage married individuals to anchor their lives and marriages in Christ, as well as to pass on this commitment to their circle of influence.
