HEALING TOGETHER : Letting Go of Past Pain to Grow Your Marriage

What if your past is still running your marriage?

Research shows that recognizing past pains — for example, through expressive writing about trauma — helps people process pain in a healthy way. Spending time with your past to come to terms with it is very different from wallowing or using it as a scapegoat. Let’s learn to intentionally process past hurts instead of hiding, denying, or repeatedly reliving them. Thoughtful exploration and processing of past wounds lead to emotional freedom and healthier relationships, including marriage.
